I am writing to everyone out there who has a husband / significant other that is a pilot or a career that takes them away from home.
I remember as a little girl dreaming of the day that i would marry a pilot and be flown off into the sunset. These days I would have to hijack an airplane, and kidnap my own husband for that to happen...lol I work in aviation myself, and spend day in and day out with other women's husbands. I guess this just goes to show that "God is a comedian, playing to an audience that is too afraid to laugh" all the more true!
Please follow over the next year (yes... I said year) as I try to survive and stay somewhat sane while my husband is deployed.
